Day and night of December 21, the North East Sea area (including Hoang Sa special zone) has strong northeast winds of level 6 - 7, gusting to level 8 - 9, rough seas, waves 3 - 6 m high.
The north of the central East Sea area has strong northeast winds of level 6, gusting to level 7-8, rough seas, waves 3-5 m high.
The sea area from Dak Lak to Ca Mau and the west of the South China Sea (including the sea area west of Truong Sa special zone) will have strong northeast winds of level 6, gusting to level 7 - 8, rough seas, waves 2 - 4 m high.
The sea area from South Quang Tri to Gia Lai has strong northeast winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7 - 8, rough seas, waves 2 - 4 m high.
In addition, on the day and night of December 21, the central and southern East Sea (including Truong Sa special area) will have scattered showers and thunderstorms; there is a possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind during thunderstorms.
On December 22, the North East Sea area (including Hoang Sa special zone) will have strong northeast winds of level 6 - 7, gusting to level 8 - 9, rough seas, waves 3 - 6 m high.
The northern sea area of the central East Sea, the sea area from Khanh Hoa to Ca Mau and the western sea area of the South East Sea (including the western sea area of the Truong Sa area) will have strong northeast winds of level 6, gusting to level 7-8, rough seas, waves 2-5 m high. From the night of December 22, the wind in the above sea areas will gradually decrease.
The meteorological agency warns that the level of natural disaster risk at sea is level 2. All ships operating in the above areas are at high risk of being affected by strong winds and large waves.
