On the night of December 31, 2025, the sea area northeast of the Northern East Sea area will have strong northeast winds at level 6, gusts at level 7 - 8, rough seas, waves 2-4m high.
In addition, on the day and night of December 31, the southern sea area in the central East Sea, the South East Sea area (including Truong Sa special zone) will have scattered showers and thunderstorms. In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind at level 6 - 7.
On January 1, 2026, the sea area east of the Northern East Sea area will have strong northeast winds of level 6, sometimes level 7, gusts of level 8, strong sea waves, waves 3-5m high.
In the afternoon and night of January 1st, the Gulf of Tonkin will have winds turning northeast, gradually strengthening to level 6, sometimes level 7, gusts of level 8 - 9, strong sea waves, waves 2-3m high.
The Northern East Sea area (including Hoang Sa special zone) in the late afternoon and night of January 1st, forecast northeast wind gradually strengthens to level 7, gusts level 8-9, strong sea waves, waves 4-6m high.
The central area of the East Sea, the sea area from Khanh Hoa to Ca Mau and the western sea area of the South East Sea (including the western sea area of the Truong Sa special zone) will gradually strengthen northeast winds to level 6, sometimes level 7, gusts level 8 - 9, strong sea waves, waves 2-5m high.
On the night of January 1st, the sea area from South Quang Tri to Dak Lak and the sea area east of the South East Sea (including the sea area east of Truong Sa region) will gradually strengthen northeast winds to level 6, gusts level 7 - 8, rough seas, waves 2-4m high.
The meteorological agency warns that the level of natural disaster risk at sea is level 2. All ships operating in the above areas are at high risk of being affected by strong winds and big waves.
