Hanoi area
From July 13 to 17, Hanoi will have a sunny day, especially from July 15 to 17, there is a possibility of widespread hot weather; in the evening and at night, there will be local thunderstorms.
From the night of July 17 to 18, Hanoi will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, sunny days. Thunderstorms will be concentrated in the late afternoon and night.
During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
Northern region
From July 13 to 14, in the North, there will be sunny days, local thunderstorms in the late afternoon and at night, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in mountainous areas.
From July 15 to 17, sunny days, some places are hot, especially July 16 to 17, there is a possibility of widespread hot weather; showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night.
From the night of July 17 to 18, the North will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, sunny days. Thunderstorms will be concentrated in the late afternoon and night.
During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
Area from Thanh Hoa to Hue and the South Central Coast
From July 13 to 14, the area from Thanh Hoa to Hue and the South Central Coast will have sunny days, some places will be hot, showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night.
From July 15 to 18, the above area is likely to experience widespread heat and sunshine, with local thunderstorms in the evening and no rain at night.
During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
Water levels on main rivers in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An are likely to fluctuate, while on other rivers in the Central region, the changes will be slow.
Central and Southern Plateau
From July 13 to 18, there will be showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening, with some places having heavy rain and sunny days.
During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
Water levels on the main rivers in the Central Highlands will change slowly and be affected by the regulation of reservoirs, with some small rivers appearing fluctuating.
Water levels on rivers in the Southern region fluctuate with the tide with a slow rising trend.
Assessment of the hydrological situation
From July 13 to July 18, large waves over 2m are common in the central and southern East Sea (including Truong Sa archipelago), the sea off Gia Lai - Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong - Ca Mau, wave heights range from 2 - 4m, rough seas.
The Ca Mau - An Giang area and the Gulf of Thailand need to pay attention to prevent thunderstorms and tornadoes that may be accompanied by unusually high waves in coastal areas, with common wave heights of over 2m.
The meteorological agency said that next week, there is little chance of a tropical cyclone appearing in the East Sea.
