Latest update from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 1:00 p.m. on November 7, the center of storm Yinxing was located at about 18.5 degrees north latitude; 122.4 degrees east longitude, in the sea northeast of Luzon Island (Philippines).
The strongest wind near the storm center is level 15 (167-183km/h), gusting over level 17. The storm moves west-northwest at a speed of 10-15km/h.
It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, the storm will move west at a speed of 15 - 20 km/h, entering the East Sea. At 13:00 on November 8, the center of the storm will be at about 18.5 degrees north latitude - 118.8 degrees east longitude; in the eastern sea area of the North East Sea.
The strongest wind near the storm center is level 14, gusting to level 17.
It is forecasted that in the next 48 hours, the storm will move west-northwest at a speed of 15-20km/h, gradually weakening. At 1pm on November 9, the center of the storm will be at approximately 18.8 degrees north latitude - 115.1 degrees east longitude; 430km northeast of Hoang Sa archipelago.
The strongest wind near the storm center is level 12, gusting to level 14.
Forecast in the next 72 hours, the storm is moving west at a speed of 10km/h. At 13:00 on November 10, the center of the storm is at about 18.9 degrees north latitude - 112.9 degrees east longitude; 300km north of Hoang Sa archipelago.
The strongest wind near the storm center is level 11 - 12, gusting to level 14.
From the next 72 to 120 hours, the storm is likely to change direction to the southwest, traveling 10 - 15km per hour, and continue to weaken.
At sea, the eastern sea area of the North East Sea has strong winds of level 6 - 7. From the night of November 7, the wind will increase to level 8 - 11, near the storm center it will be level 12 - 14, gusting to level 17, waves 4 - 6m high, near the center 6 - 8m; the sea will be very rough.
