The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that the Northeast region is forecast to continue to be hot and sunny on August 13 - 14.

The area from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang, the east of the provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak will have scattered showers and thunderstorms at night, hot during the day; in the late afternoon and evening, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain.
Other areas will have scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, with some places having heavy rain.
The meteorological agency warns that thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
