Forecast for the next 24 to 48 hours
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that in the next 24 to 48 hours, some places in the North will have cold weather at night and in the morning.
Northern region, Thanh Hoa and northern Nghe An: no rain at night, some places have fog in the early morning, sunny during the day. Cold at night and early morning, cold in mountainous areas.
The area from southern Nghe An to Thua Thien Hue has moderate rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain.
The area from Da Nang to Binh Thuan has scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain, from October 7 in the north there will be moderate rain, locally heavy to very heavy rain and thunderstorms.
The Central Highlands and the South have scattered showers and thunderstorms; in the late afternoon and evening there are scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some heavy rain in some places.
Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has made comments on notable weather trends in some areas from the night of October 8 to October 16.
Northern region and Thanh Hoa: no rain at night, some places have fog in the early morning, from October 11 early morning there will be scattered fog and light fog; sunny day.
Cold at night and early morning, cold in mountainous areas. From about October 9 to October 16, there will be rain in some places in the North and Thanh Hoa.
From about October 14 to 16, the temperature tends to decrease compared to previous days.
The area from Nghe An to Quang Ngai will have scattered showers and thunderstorms; on the night of October 8, the area from Ha Tinh to Quang Ngai will have moderate rain and scattered thunderstorms, with some places having heavy rain.
In the South Central, Central Highlands and Southern regions from October 9 to 16, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.
Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
