Miss H'Hen Nie's forest planting journey began in 2023 when she celebrated her 5th year of coronation. Although she has achieved her goal, she still continues to maintain this project. Last August, H'Hen Nie spent 2 days planting forests in Xuan Lien Nature Reserve (Thanh Hoa).
“If I were alone, I wouldn’t be able to cover the entire place with greenery, but if everyone joins hands and helps me, even if it’s just one or two trees, it’s very precious. Every time I receive support and companionship from everyone, H’Hen Nie feels very happy and joyful, that’s also the meaning of spreading love for nature,” H’Hen Nie confided.
Here, she continued to plant 1 more hectare of forest including green Lim trees, water chestnut, water chestnut, water chestnut... bringing the number of hectares of forest planted in this area to 7. Since January 2024, the project initiated by Miss H'Hen Nie has planted a total of 8 hectares of forest in conservation areas and national parks across the country.
In addition to planting forests, Miss H'Hen Nie also had the opportunity to join the patrol team in the forest to remove traps, protect the forest and preserve biodiversity in the Dong Giang and Tay Giang protective forests (Quang Nam). Through the trip, H'Hen Nie gained more knowledge and practical experience with the patrol team to remove traps. From there, H'Hen Nie hopes to use her voice to spread the message of biodiversity conservation to the community.
"Hen hopes that with the team's efforts to remove traps, everyone will join hands to prevent trapping wild animals as well as hunting wildlife. Let animals live and develop safely in the natural environment, in which stopping eating wild animals is also an action that contributes to reducing the hunting of wild animals in the wild," she said.
