Hanoi area is very cold. The lowest temperature in this cold air mass is commonly 10 - 13 degrees Celsius.
Due to the influence of cold air combined with disturbances in the upper easterly wind zone, on the day and night of December 15, in the area from Quang Nam to Binh Thuan, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
Heavy rains can cause flooding in low-lying areas; flash floods in small rivers and streams, and landslides on steep slopes.

From Nghe An to Thua Thien Hue, the lowest temperature is about 14 - 17 degrees Celsius; the average temperature is about 17 - 19 degrees Celsius.
At sea, on December 15, the Gulf of Tonkin has strong northeast winds of level 6, gusting to level 7-8; rough seas; waves 2-4m high. From the night of December 15, the wind will gradually decrease.
The North East Sea area (including Hoang Sa archipelago) has strong northeast winds of level 6 - 7, gusts of level 8 - 9, rough seas; waves 4 - 6m high.
