The Gulf of Tonkin area, the sea area from Quang Tri to Binh Thuan and the South East Sea area (including Truong Sa archipelago) will have waves 1.5 - 3m high. From January 3, wave heights will gradually decrease in the sea areas, generally below 2m.
From March 30 to April 2, the high tide along the eastern coast of the South is expected to be high, the highest water level at Vung Tau station may reach 410 - 420cm.
Low-lying coastal areas, riverbanks, and areas outside the dykes in the Southeast are likely to be flooded in the morning, evening, and night. In addition, high tides increase the risk of saline intrusion in the Southeast coast.
