AN AN |

It is forecast that the Northern Delta will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms from tomorrow night, September 13; then the rain will expand to the Northern Midlands and some mountainous provinces.

Cold air weakens, the temperature in the North increases again. Today, September 12, the weather in the North is generally sunny with the highest temperature commonly 30 - 33 degrees Celsius.

The most notable weather area today is the Central region, with heavy to very heavy rain in many places. The cause of rain in the Central region is due to the influence of the intertropical convergence zone connected to the tropical depression in the East Sea. The circulation of subtropical high pressure, also known as the sea air mass, will gradually encroach westward, creating a high easterly wind zone affecting the Central region.

After that, the tropical convergence zone tends to gradually raise its axis to the North, so the rain area tends to return to the North.

The meteorological agency forecasts that heavy rain is likely to last until the morning of September 16.

Warning level of natural disaster risk due to heavy rain, tornadoes, lightning, and hail is level 1. Heavy rain is likely to cause flooding in low-lying areas, urban areas, and industrial parks; flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on slopes.
