Today (September 27), the temperature in the North tends to increase. According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the Northern region will have local heat with temperatures above 35 degrees Celsius at 1:00 p.m. today, such as Bac Me station (Tuyen Quang) 36.7 degrees Celsius, Cho Ra station (Thai Nguyen) 35.8 degrees Celsius...

Regarding the hot weather situation, according to Mr. Nguyen Van Huong - Head of Weather Forecast Department, National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, it is forecasted that from July 28 to 29, the Northern region (except Lai Chau and Dien Bien) will have hot weather, some places will have severe heat.
"The highest temperature commonly during this heat wave is about 35 - 37 degrees Celsius, some places above 37 degrees Celsius" - Mr. Huong said.
According to the meteorological agency, in the next 2 days, the lowest relatively humidity will generally be 55 - 60%. The hot weather lasts from 11 to 16 hours.
On July 29, the hot weather tends to spread to the Central region. Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and the eastern areas of the provinces from Quang Ngai to Khanh Hoa will have hot weather, some places will have severe heat with the highest temperature commonly 35 - 37 degrees Celsius, some places will be over 37 degrees Celsius. The lowest relatively humidity is commonly 55 - 60%. The hot weather lasts from 11 to 16 hours.
"The hot weather in the Northern region is likely to last until around July 31 - August 1. Meanwhile, the hot weather in the Central region is likely to last for many days" - Mr. Huong commented.
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting warns that the risk of natural disasters due to heat is level 1.
Due to the influence of hot weather, some places are experiencing severe heat combined with low humidity in the air, so there is a high risk of fire and explosion in residential areas due to increased demand for electricity, as well as the risk of forest fires. Hot weather can also cause dehydration and exhaustion due to heat stroke in the human body when exposed to high temperatures for a long time.
Note, the forecast temperature in hot weather reports and the actual outdoor temperature may range from 2 - 4 degrees Celsius, or even higher depending on the conditions of the buffer surface such as concrete and asphalt.
Previously, from the beginning of 2025 to now, there have been 7 widespread hot spells occurring in the North, Central and Southeast regions.
