On May 30, Vinh Thuan Commune Police (Hai Phong City) coordinated with functional forces to organize the handover and release of 35 wild birds back to the natural environment at Dao Co ecological area, belonging to An Duong village, Nam Thanh Mien commune, Hai Phong city.
Previously, during the inspection and control of the area, Vinh Thuan Commune Police discovered, made records and seized the above-mentioned wild bird individuals from acts of raising and trading wild birds illegally. These are serious violations of the law on wildlife protection and biodiversity.
After confiscation, functional forces have carried out care and close monitoring. Up to now, when all 35 birds have ensured good health conditions and are capable of survival, handover procedures according to regulations have been quickly completed to return them to nature.
Vinh Thuan Commune Police recommends that people strictly comply with regulations, absolutely do not participate in hunting, raising, transporting or illegally trading natural birds and wild animals. Cases of intentional violations will be strictly handled according to the provisions of law.
