According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the cold air mass is continuing to move south.
Around the evening and night of November 1, this cold air mass will affect the Northeast region, then affect the North Central region, some places in the Northwest and the Central Central region. The northeast wind inland will strengthen to level 2-3, coastal areas to level 3-4.
During this cold spell in the Northern region, the weather changes little.
On the night of November 1 and the day of November 2, the North will have cold nights and early mornings, especially in mountainous areas. The lowest temperature in the North will be around 20 - 22 degrees Celsius, in mountainous areas 18 - 20 degrees Celsius, in high mountainous areas some places will be below 16 degrees Celsius. The average temperature will be around 23 - 25 degrees Celsius, in mountainous areas some places will be below 22 degrees Celsius.
The night of November 2 and the day of November 3, the temperature will drop lower. The North, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An will have the lowest temperature of about 19 - 21 degrees Celsius; the mountainous areas of the North will have 17 - 19 degrees Celsius, and some high mountainous areas will have temperatures below 15 degrees Celsius. The average temperature will be about 22 - 24 degrees Celsius, and some mountainous areas will have temperatures below 22 degrees Celsius.
At sea, from the night of November 1, the Gulf of Tonkin will have northeast winds increasing to level 6, gusting to level 7 - 8; rough seas; waves 1.5 - 2.5m high. From November 2, in the northern sea area of the North East Sea, the northeast winds will gradually increase to level 6, gusting to level 7 - 8; rough seas; waves 2 - 3.5m high.
The meteorological agency warned that strong winds and large waves at sea could affect shipping and other activities.
