Reporting at the inspection, Chairman of Hoan Kiem District People's Committee Pham Tuan Long said that the district has mobilized all forces to respond according to the "4 on-site" motto; mobilized 100% of business households to close and stop operations during the storm. The district mobilized 707 people to evacuate (of which 88 people evacuated to schools, safe places and 620 people to relatives' homes).

The Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee requested that the traffic system be restored today - September 8 - so that people can go to work and live normally on September 9.
According to preliminary statistics, in Hanoi, there have been more than 10,000 fallen trees. The Chairman of the City People's Committee especially noted that there are trees hundreds of years old that need to be preserved and replanted.
The Chairman of the City People's Committee also requested the electricity sector to urgently fix the problem to serve production, business and people's lives, and urgently restore the medium-voltage power grid to serve pumping and drainage.
