Previously, at about 4 pm on May 10, 2026, child N.V.V (born in 2016) while playing with friends in the pond area of a household in Tan Trung village (Dam Ha commune), unfortunately fell into the pond and drowned.
Discovering the incident, Mr. Tran Van Sung quickly jumped into the pond to rescue the baby to the shore. Immediately after that, Mr. Dang Van Kien and some people present at the scene coordinated to implement initial first aid measures.
Thanks to timely response and proper handling, baby V. has passed the critical condition and is currently in stable health.
Recognizing the courageous and timely action of rescuing people in dangerous situations, the Chairman of Dam Ha Commune People's Committee decided to award Certificates of Merit "Good People, Good Deeds" to Mr. Tran Van Sung and Mr. Dang Van Kien.
The commendation aims to show the spirit of responsibility for the community, and at the same time spread beautiful actions in social life, contributing to building the movement of mutual affection in the locality.
