On the afternoon of December 14, the Border Guard Command of Thua Thien Hue province coordinated with the local government of Dong Son commune, A Luoi district to inaugurate and hand over a comrade house to the family of Lieutenant Ho Van Ngam (control officer and driver, Nham Border Guard Station, Thua Thien Hue Provincial Border Guard).
The new house of Lieutenant Ho Van Ngam's family was built in Tru - Chai village (Dong Son commune, A Luoi district). After nearly 5 months of construction, the 100m2 level 4 house was completed, with a total construction cost of nearly 400 million VND; of which, the Provincial Border Guard Command supported 80 million VND, the remaining amount was contributed by the family. During the construction process, officers and soldiers of the Border Guard Station supported working days to help the house be completed on schedule, ensuring the quality of the project.
Lieutenant Ho Van Ngam's family is in difficult circumstances and does not have a stable home. During the past time, comrade Ngam has always accepted and completed well all assigned tasks.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Dang Ngoc Hieu - Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard affirmed: "The support for the construction of the 'Comrades' House' demonstrates the concern of the Party, State, Army, Provincial Border Guard; the solidarity, mutual love and affection of comrades and teammates to help the family of Lieutenant Ho Van Ngam stabilize their lives, work with peace of mind and complete the assigned tasks well."
This practical activity aims to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024), the 35th anniversary of National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024) and the 60th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Border Guard of Thua Thien Hue province (December 15, 1964 - December 15, 2024).
