On May 12, Bac Trach Commune Police (Quang Tri province) said that they had just supported a resident to receive back 300 million VND mistakenly transferred during a bank transaction.

Previously, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa (resident of Thanh Hai village, Bac Trach commune) reported to the Bac Trach Commune Police about the negligence of mistakenly transferring 300 million VND to a strange account when carrying out bank transactions.

Determining that this was a large amount of money, affecting people's lives, Bac Trach Commune Police quickly deployed verification measures, coordinated with the bank to clarify information about the account holder receiving the money.

At the same time, the police force contacted, propagated, and mobilized money recipients to comply with legal regulations and return the mistakenly received money.

In the presence of the Bac Trach Commune Police, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa fully received the 300 million VND mistakenly transferred earlier.

Moved by the timely support of the police force, Ms. Hoa sent a thank-you letter to officers and soldiers of Bac Trach Commune Police.

According to Bac Trach Commune Police, the case continues to affirm the role of grassroots police forces in protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the people, contributing to consolidating people's trust in the People's Police force.
