On May 12, 2026, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, the Secretariat considered and disciplined party members.
After considering the proposal of the Central Inspection Committee on disciplinary action against violating party members, the Secretariat found:
Nguyen Van Buong, former: Secretary of the Party Committee, Chief Justice of the High People's Court (TAND) in Da Nang; Vu The Phiet, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Airports Corporation; Le Van Ha, former: Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council (HĐND) of Le Ho ward (Ninh Binh province) have declined in political ideology, morality, and lifestyle; violated the Party's regulations and the State's laws in performing assigned duties and tasks, in preventing and combating corruption, wastefulness, and negativity; violated regulations on what party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility of setting an example, causing very serious consequences, public outrage, and very badly affecting the prestige of the Party organization, local government and agencies and units.
Based on the content, nature, severity, consequences, and causes of violations; according to Party regulations on disciplinary action against violating party members, the Secretariat decided to impose the disciplinary action of Expulsion from the Party on the following individuals: Nguyen Van Buong, Vu The Phiet, Le Van Ha.
It is proposed that functional agencies promptly and synchronously implement administrative discipline with Party discipline.
