On January 4, at the border commune of Ia Lop, Ea Sup district, the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and Ea Sup district to organize the program "Border Spring - Warming the hearts of the villagers" in 2025.
The border area of Dak Lak province has 4 communes, belonging to the administrative boundaries of 2 districts Ea Sup and Buon Don. The areas have 38 villages and hamlets and 22 ethnic minorities living together, accounting for 39.3%.
In these areas, transportation is not convenient. Villages and hamlets are far apart, so people's lives are still difficult, and the poverty rate is still quite high.
The program has a humanistic meaning to express gratitude to ethnic people in the cause of building and protecting sovereignty and border security.
Colonel Do Quang Tham - Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard - said: "This is one of the annual activities, organized every time Tet comes and spring comes.
Thereby, to concretize the policies of the Party, the State, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and the Party Committee and Command of the Vietnam Border Guard.
Policy households and those in difficult circumstances in border areas will have a more complete Lunar New Year, with no one left behind."
At the Program, the organizers also implemented many exciting and meaningful activities, including: "Green Banh Chung Festival"; "Zero Dong Booth";
Presented 5 houses to families in especially difficult circumstances; presented nearly 400 gifts to policy families and poor households...
In particular, more than 300 local people received medical examinations, health consultations, and free medicine...
Total cost of program implementation is over 800 million VND.
