On September 1, Phu Loi Ward Police, Ho Chi Minh City, said they had organized for the woman to mistakenly transfer money to receive her property back.
Accordingly, the person who transferred the wrong money is Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai (residing in Ben Cat ward, Ho Chi Minh City). The person who received the wrong money transfer is Mr. Le Huu Vinh (residing in Phu Loi ward, Ho Chi Minh City).
Previously, Mr. Le Huu Vinh went to Phu Loi Ward Police to report that his bank account suddenly received 9 million VND mistakenly transferred. Then continued to receive 10,000 VND with a refund request.
Suspecting about this incident, Mr. Vinh did not arbitrarily use the money but proactively reported to Phu Loi Ward Police to provide transaction information for inspection, verification and guidance.
Upon receiving information, Phu Loi Ward Police quickly checked and verified the transaction information provided by Mr. Vinh. Through verification, it was determined that the mistaken transferor was Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai.
Realizing that this was a case where people needed support to ensure their legitimate rights and interests, Phu Loi Ward Police officers proactively contacted Ms. Hai, clearly informed her about the incident, and guided her to the Ward Police headquarters to compare information, verify transactions and carry out necessary procedures to receive back the 9 million VND mistakenly transferred.
Receiving the mistakenly transferred money back, Ms. Hai was very happy and sent her deep thanks to Mr. Le Huu Vinh for his kindness, honesty, not using the money that did not belong to her and proactively reporting to the Police agency.
Phu Loi Ward Police also praised the honest and upright actions of Mr. Le Huu Vinh.
