On August 18, Muong Nha Commune Police (Dien Bien province) said that the unit had just received a thank-you letter from Ms. Son Thi Thu Truc (born 2000, residing in hamlet 1, Da Kia commune, Dong Nai province) after being supported by officers and soldiers to resolve the mistaken money transfer.
Previously, Ms. Truc unfortunately mistakenly transferred the amount of 7,653,000 VND to the account of Mr. Lo Van Sang (residing in Xe village, Muong Nha commune).
After discovering the wrong transaction, Ms. Truc tried to contact to verify the recipient's information and asked for support to return the money.
Upon receiving the information, Muong Nha Commune Police verified the account holder, clarified the related information and supported the connection between the sender and the recipient.
Through verification, Mr. Lo Van Sang determined that the money transferred to the account did not belong to him. He proactively reported to the Commune Police and voluntarily returned all 7,653,000 VND to Ms. Truc.
After receiving the property back, Ms. Truc sent a letter of thanks to Muong Nha Commune Police, expressing her appreciation for the spirit of responsibility and dedication of officers and soldiers in the process of receiving, verifying, and supporting the resolution of the case.
The case is not complicated but shows the role of the grassroots police force in supporting people to solve problems arising in life.
From a mistaken transfer transaction, the proactiveness of the Commune Police has helped to quickly verify information, connect parties, and create conditions for property to be returned to the right owners.
In addition, Mr. Lo Van Sang's honest and voluntary act of repaying the money is also a beautiful act, contributing to spreading positive values in the community.
From specific and practical actions, the image of police officers being close to the people, close to the people, listening to and promptly supporting the People continues to be nurtured, thereby contributing to consolidating trust and the close relationship between the Police force and the people right from the grassroots level.
