On May 25, Ham Tan Commune Police, Lam Dong province said that they had supported the return of property to a driver who dropped his wallet while moving through the commune.
Previously, a resident while traveling on the road picked up a lost wallet. Checking inside, this person discovered cash and many important personal papers, so he proactively brought it to Ham Tan Commune Police to report, asking for help in finding the person who lost it to return it.
Upon receiving information, the on-duty police of Ham Tan commune proceeded to verify the owner through documents and related information in the wallet.
Through verification, functional forces identified the owner of the property as Mr. Nguyen Thua Vu, residing in Ho Chi Minh City, working as a cargo driver. During the process of traveling through Ham Tan commune to deliver goods, Mr. Vu accidentally dropped his wallet.

After that, Ham Tan Commune Police contacted and invited Mr. Vu to the headquarters to complete procedures to receive his property back. After comparing all the information, the functional forces handed over the wallet along with all the papers and cash inside to the owner.
Receiving the property back, Mr. Vu expressed his joy and thanked the people who found the wallet and the Ham Tan Commune Police force for quickly supporting verification and contacting to return it.
According to Ham Tan Commune Police, the action of people bringing found property to report is a beautiful gesture, showing honesty, sense of responsibility for the community, contributing to spreading positive actions in social life.
