On the evening of May 14, the Mobile Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police said that the unit had just completed procedures to hand over property picked up by a soldier to a person who dropped it.
Previously, during the performance of his duties, Sergeant Tran Nhat Minh - a compulsory soldier working at the Mobile Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police - picked up a backpack dropped by a resident on the road in Da Lat. Inside the backpack were many papers, important personal belongings and 5 million VND.
Immediately after that, Sergeant Minh reported to the unit commander, and coordinated to verify information to find the person who dropped the property.
After a period of verification, the Mobile Police Department determined that the above property belonged to Ms. Doan Thi Kim Quyen (residing in Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat).
The unit has completed the procedures to return all assets and papers to Ms. Quyen.
Receiving the property back, Ms. Quyen expressed her emotion and sent thanks to the unit and individual Sergeant Tran Nhat Minh for their beautiful and responsible actions.
According to the Mobile Police Department, Sergeant Tran Nhat Minh's actions contributed to spreading the beautiful image of the People's Police soldier in the hearts of the people.
