Multi-billion VND transportation project is about to be completed, coastal residents of Hue City are excited

HUE - The final items of the coastal road and Thuan An estuary overpass project are being urgently completed, coastal people are eagerly waiting for the exploitation day.
Thuan An estuary overpass seen from above with a length of about 2.36km, prominent in the sea and sky space of Hue City. The project is entering the final completion phase before being put into operation.The red cable system creates an architectural highlight for the Thuan An estuary overpass. The 20m wide bridge deck with a scale of 4 lanes has been completed for many months.The bridge has been paved with asphalt, completed with a system of railings, medians and traffic safety assurance items. The new connecting route contributes to shortening the coastal journey in Thuan An area.The coastal road and Thuan An estuary overpass create another traffic axis connecting the coastal area of Hue City, expanding the urban development space towards the sea.Up to now, the access roads at both ends of the bridge have been cleared, and people on both sides can move back and forth.The straight road runs through the coastal residential area.Traffic signs have been fully installed before the finishing day.Workers continue to complete the final items such as the sign system, technical infrastructure and auxiliary works before the project is put into operation.Rows of houses are newly built and renovated at the time the project is about to be completed.Mr. Nguyen Cho (96 years old) looks at the newly completed bridge and road. He hopes the project will contribute to changing the face of the area, creating more motivation for development in the coming time. "I am very happy to see the bridge and roads change. I think the project will be a driving force for development, helping Thuan An ward in particular and Hue City in general to develop" - Mr. Cho excitedly said.According to the Hue City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, the coastal road and Thuan An estuary overpass (phase 1) have been basically completed, with only some final items left before officially put into operation before July 30th.
The Thuan An coastal road and seaport overpass project was started in March 2022, invested by the Hue City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board.
Phase 1 alone has a total investment of about 2,400 billion VND, including a 5.3km long road and a 2.36km long Thuan An estuary overpass.
After completion, the bridge will not only strengthen traffic connections but also expand the urban development space towards the sea, creating momentum to promote the marine economy, tourism and services of Hue City in the coming years.
