HUE - Thua Thien Hue has just completed the application for recognition as National Treasures for 4 sets of artifacts from the Nguyen Dynasty.

According to research, Ngo Mon bell is a unique work of art of sculpture, painting, bronze casting industry of Minh Mang (1820 - 1841) in particular and Nguyen Dynasty (1802 - 1945) in general.

The Ngo Mon Bell is the only bell (unique) cast to be placed at the main gate space in the South, the largest of the four main gates of the Hue Imperial Citadel. The bell is used for administrative activities, considered a symbol of the feudal dynasty.

Finally, the throne of Emperor Duy Tan. When he ascended the throne in 1907, Duy Tan was the 11th emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty. At the time of his accession, King Duy Tan was only 7 years old. To suit the emperor's stature, the court specially made a small throne for use in the king's coronation ceremony. With the historical context as well as the origin and descriptive characteristics, the throne of Emperor Duy Tan currently kept and preserved at the Hue Royal Antiquities Museum is a unique original artifact.
