    On the morning of May 22, the Vietnam Bank Union opened the "Banking Industry Digital Transformation" Contest in 2026. This is an activity to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam Bank (May 6, 1951 - May 6, 2026) and respond to the Banking Industry Digital Transformation Day 2026 (May 11, 2026). Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade - Vietcombank is a companion and coordinating organization.
    Phát biểu khai mạc Hội thi, ông Phạm Tiến Dũng - Phó Thống đốc Ngân hàng Nhà nước, Chủ tịch Công đoàn Ngân hàng Việt Nam, Trưởng ban Chỉ đạo và Ban Tổ chức Hội thi nhấn mạnh, chuyển đổi số đang trở thành xu thế tất yếu, là động lực quan trọng thúc đẩy tăng trưởng kinh tế, nâng cao năng suất lao động và năng lực cạnh tranh quốc gia. Đối với ngành Ngân hàng, một trong những ngành tiên phong trong ứng dụng khoa học công nghệ và đổi mới sáng tạo, chuyển đổi số không chỉ là yêu cầu khách quan mà còn là nhiệm vụ chiến lược nhằm xây dựng hệ sinh thái tài chính hiện đại, an toàn, minh bạch.
    Speaking at the opening of the Contest, Mr. Pham Tien Dung - Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, Chairman of the Vietnam Bank Union, Head of the Steering Committee and Organizing Committee of the Contest emphasized that digital transformation is becoming an inevitable trend, an important driving force to promote economic growth, improve labor productivity and national competitiveness. For the banking industry, one of the pioneering industries in applying science and technology and innovation, digital transformation is not only an objective requirement but also a strategic task to build a modern, safe and transparent financial ecosystem.
    Hội thi có sự tham gia của hơn 600 thí sinh đến từ 32 đơn vị tiêu biểu. Các đội thi sẽ trải qua 3 vòng thi được dàn dựng sân khấu hóa hiện đại, ứng dụng tối đa công nghệ.
    The contest has the participation of more than 600 contestants from 32 typical units. The teams will go through 3 rounds of competition staged modernly, applying maximum technology.
    32 đội thi đã mang đến những màn chào sân đầy ấn tượng, không chỉ khoe trọn bản sắc văn hóa riêng biệt của từng đơn vị mà còn thể hiện sự chuyên nghiệp và khâu chuẩn bị vô cùng chu đáo, kỹ càng.
    On the morning of May 22, all 32 teams participated in the Round 1 - Strength Match. The competing teams brought impressive and professional opening performances, showing extremely thoughtful and thorough preparation.

    Standing on stage are not only specialists and staff but also the direct presence of department-level managers, middle-level managers, and senior leaders. The age group participating in the competition is also very diverse.

    Vòng 2 - Chinh phục kỷ nguyên số: Thi tìm hiểu kiến thức về chuyển đổi số ngành Ngân hàng theo dạng các câu hỏi trắc nghiệm trực tiếp trên máy tính bảng. Tại vòng thi này, các đội sẽ tham gia trả lời câu hỏi trắc nghiệm bằng thiết bị công nghệ do Ban Tổ chức cung cấp. Tổng cộng có 20 câu hỏi, chia thành 2 lượt thi, mỗi lượt gồm 10 câu hỏi. Mỗi đội sẽ cử 1 thành viên tham gia mỗi lượt thi và thành viên của lượt 1 không được trùng với lượt 2.
    Round 2 - "Conquering the digital age", a knowledge test on digital transformation in the Banking industry took place on the afternoon of May 22 in the form of multiple-choice questions directly on tablets. In this round, teams will participate in answering multiple-choice questions using technology equipment provided by the Organizing Committee. There are a total of 20 questions, divided into 2 rounds, each round including 10 questions. Each team will send 1 member to participate in each round and members of round 1 must not overlap with round 2.

    In this competition, teams must draw random themes right on stage. This round has brought the difficulty of the competition to the maximum level.
