From September 6-14, Da Nang General Science Library organized the 3rd "Da Nang Reading Culture Festival 2025", bringing a rich reading culture space with exhibitions, seminars, exchanges of authors - works and many unique community activities. The event took place at the library and sidewalk 46 Bach Dang, Hai Chau ward.
This is an activity in a series of cultural events - festivals on both banks of the Han River in 2025, directed by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City, and implemented by the General Science Library. The opening program took place at 4:00 p.m. on September 9.
Here, people and tourists can attend exhibitions displaying information resources, valuable documents, new books, good books; talkshow, thematic seminars; exchanges of authors - works; book launches; poetry - music nights; special art programs. In addition, there are also community activities such as giving and exchanging books, developing community bookcases, games, showing documentaries and programs for children.
According to the Organizing Committee, the 3rd Da Nang Reading Culture Festival 2025 this year will gather from 25 - 30 booths, introducing more than 1,000 new books. This is an opportunity to honor the value of books, affirm the role and position of reading culture in social life, and at the same time create a useful playground for students and people of the city.
