Thereby, the project promotes the effectiveness of poverty reduction programs and projects and meets people's need for information access, especially in remote and extremely disadvantaged areas.
The National Book and Newspaper Platform with the domain names sachdientu.vn and ebook.gov.vn was built and launched, marking a new step forward in realizing the goal of reducing information poverty and developing a reading culture, promoting national digital transformation.

The Information and Communications Publishing House is the unit assigned by the Ministry of Information and Communications to preside over the construction, management and operation, with the coordination and support of the Department of Publishing, Printing and Distribution and the Press Department.
The National Books and Newspapers Platform is built with an Access Portal and a reading App on mobile devices (IOS and Android operating systems, called National Books and Newspapers) to read e-books and e-newspapers.
The access portal is divided into two subsystems to post e-books and e-newspapers separately. E-books are arranged according to each program/project for readers to easily follow and read. E-newspapers are arranged in order of press agencies.

Currently, the platform has more than 3,600 publications, including 202 e-books (including multimedia books, audiobooks and regular e-books) and 3,485 e-articles, in the forms of Infographic, Mega Story and video.
The platform is built and operated not only to serve the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the 2021-2025 period, but also to create an ecosystem, becoming a platform for publishing and distributing e-books, providing content and press information for other programs and projects chaired by the Ministry of Information and Communications.
