1. Growing sprouts on the land
Step 1: Prepare ingredients:
- Seeds: There are many types of vegetables suitable for you to choose to grow for sprouts such as bean sprouts, sunflower vegetables, white radish, sweet cabbage, green cabbage, water spinach, amaranth... All types of sprout seeds are available at planting stores nationwide. You should choose specialized seeds to grow sprouts of clear origin, spinach, and even.
- Good soil and growing tools: Asphalt, pots, pots... anything can be grown.
Step 2: Soak the seeds:
Soak the seeds in warm water about 55 degrees Celsius. The soaking time depends on each seed. For white, or red radish seeds, soak for 5-6 hours. For water spinach and sunflower seeds, leave for 10-12 hours.
After soaking, rinse the seeds with water.
Step 3: Seed Seed:
You should spread the seeds on a tray of soil so that when they are planted, they do not leak. If more than 1 layer is left, when the roots are taken out, many spring roots do not touch the host and die. The shoot is easily attacked by other birds and mice. After 2-3 days of sowing, the already sprouted seeds need to be brought out in a tray of sprouted vegetables in the morning. Water the tray every day with a mist spray bottle, watering the tray surface evenly.
Step 4: Harvest and store sprouts:
Depending on each variety, there are different harvest days, but usually only 5-7 days can eat vegetables. Use a scissor or clean knife to cut the edge of the host, do not wash, and store them in plastic boxes or plastic bags stored in the refrigerator (to prevent vegetable and fruit storage).
Wash before eating and process into dishes such as salad, stir-frying, etc.
2. Growing sprouts on rotten paper
Step 1: Prepare ingredients:
- Seeds.
- Food paper: Just take the usual type of food paper.
- Khay: You can take advantage of plastic trays, or i-nox, wells, pots.
Step 2: Soak the seeds:
The seeds are soaked in water in a ratio of 2 boils and 3 cold. However, there are some types of seeds that do not require soaking seeds, so you can sow them directly.
Then remove the small, deep, and bulge seeds that will not sprout or if there are sprouts, they will not grow quickly or die in moderation. After soaking, rinse the seeds with water.
Step 3: Seed:
Spread the feeding paper on a tray and water it. Then sow the seeds on top and water the seeds.
You should water 1-2 times a day. As the shoots gradually increase, the amount of water is also needed. However, do not water too much to avoid flooding.
Step 4: Harvest
Harvest vegetables after 7 days from the date of sowing.
