According to the report of the Ha Tinh Center for Disease Control, in January 2025, the whole province of Ha Tinh recorded 1,554 cases of influenza, an increase of 2 times in the same period in 2024. Accumulated from the beginning of 2025, the total number of cases is 2,485.
Regarding measles, from the beginning of 2025 to now, the whole province has recorded 343 cases of measles, the number of cases increased rapidly in the 6th week.
Therefore, in recent days, the Center for Disease Control of Ha Tinh province has increased inspection, organized training on Infectious Disease Prevention and Control and implemented the measles vaccination campaign in 2025.
Mr. Duong Cong Lu - Deputy Director of Ha Tinh Department of Health emphasized: Currently, the situation of infectious diseases is complicated, especially diseases such as flu and measles, the vaccination work has reached a high rate but there are still some children who have not been fully vaccinated.
Therefore, it is recommended that health centers of districts, towns and cities focus on promoting propaganda work so that people know and proactively take their children of the right age to health facilities for vaccination in accordance with regulations; health workers need to effectively implement the measles vaccination campaign in 2025.
