On May 25, the Department of Health of Quang Tri province said that in April 2026, digital transformation in the health sector continued to be implemented synchronously, achieving many positive results.
According to the Department of Health, 100% of units throughout the sector have used the work file management software system deployed by the Provincial People's Committee, and at the same time signed leadership numbers and signed unit numbers in issuing documents.
Regarding medical examination and treatment activities, 100% of public medical examination and treatment facilities have deployed electronic prescriptions and linked prescriptions to the National Prescription System. All pharmaceutical business establishments also implement data linking to the National Pharmaceutical System.
Notably, 25/25 hospitals in Quang Tri province have deployed electronic medical records, reaching a rate of 100%. Among them, 15/25 hospitals have completely deployed electronic medical records, not using paper medical records.
The health sector has also implemented 100% inter-connection of driver health certificates and birth certificates to the Social Insurance Assessment Portal. At the same time, 100% of medical examination and treatment facilities use CCCD and VNeID applications in health insurance medical examination and treatment.
As of April 14, 2026, the whole province has 578,842/1,856,993 people with electronic health records on the VNeID application, reaching 31.17% of the population and 68.2% of the total number of eligible people.
Quang Tri Provincial Department of Health said that in the coming time, the sector will continue to effectively implement electronic medical records, accelerate the rate of electronic health records integrated on the VNeID application, contributing to improving the quality of service for people.
