The Ministry of Health discovered that Love World Nutrition Coffee supplementary food product shows signs of advertising causing misunderstanding about its uses and effects on consumers.

The Food Safety Department has just issued a document requesting the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety to coordinate in reviewing, verifying and handling business and advertising activities of the supplementary food product "Love World Nutrition Coffee".

According to the Food Safety Department, through inspection and review of functional food advertising activities in cyberspace, this agency discovered Love World Nutrition Coffee announced by D&H RETEK USA Co., Ltd. (address at No. 7 B6 Street, Bay Hien Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).

The product is produced at Mr. Chi Technology Co., Ltd., address 9/46 Xa Lo Hanoi, Tang Nhon Phu ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

The Food Safety Department said that the product shows signs of violating advertising content, including the use of words that may mislead consumers about the uses and effects of the product.

This product is currently being sold on the e-commerce platform Shopee and some other online sales sites. The Food Safety Department has included images identified as suspected violations in the dossier sent to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety.

To protect the health and legitimate rights of consumers, the Food Safety Department requested the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety to compare the advertising content of Love World Nutrition Coffee with the self-declaration dossier of the product to verify signs of violation.

In case violations are identified, this agency requests the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety to conduct inspections of business and advertising activities for organizations and individuals announcing products and related parties.

The Food Safety Department requests that if violations are detected, the acts must be strictly handled according to legal regulations. The results of the settlement are requested to be reported to the Food Safety Department before September 10, 2026.

The document of the Food Safety Department was also sent to Shopee Co., Ltd. for coordination in handling.

The review is carried out in the context of advertising and trading of functional foods and supplements in the online environment becoming increasingly popular. Regulatory agencies recommend that consumers be cautious with advertisements that use words that easily make products misunderstood as having therapeutic effects or uses exceeding the declared profile.
