On the morning of June 18, Vinh Linh Regional General Hospital (ĐKKV) (Quang Tri province) said that the unit had just promptly provided emergency care for a pregnant woman giving birth in the car and suffering from critical hemorrhage.
Previously, in the early morning of June 14, Vinh Linh HV Hospital received information that a pregnant woman traveling on a passenger car had given birth and had symptoms of heavy bleeding.
Upon receiving this information, Vinh Linh HV Hospital immediately activated the entire hospital's red alert system. The Obstetrics Department and the on-duty resuscitation team quickly prepared personnel, medicine and emergency vehicles right in the reception room to wait for the patient.
At the time the passenger car approached the hospital, the newborn baby had not yet had her umbilical cord removed and was still attached to the placenta. Meanwhile, the mother began to fall into a state of massive bleeding, pale face, drowsy consciousness due to acute blood loss and severe psychological trauma.
The on-duty team urgently established two intravenous lines, used specific emergency drugs, and coordinated to implement active resuscitation measures and synchronous hemorrhagic control.
After 30 minutes of stress focused on fighting for the patient's life, the pregnant woman officially overcame the critical condition. The adorable baby boy was also circumcised, cleaned and provided with safe medical care by doctors.
It is known that the pregnant woman (currently 39 weeks pregnant) on a passenger car journey from Gia Lai to Hanoi, when passing through Quang Tri province, suddenly had ruptured membranes and gave birth to a baby boy right on the car.
