At this time, many localities in Ho Chi Minh City have recorded dengue fever outbreaks. For example, in the area managed by Ho Tram Commune Health Station, the dengue fever situation in the area is tending to increase compared to the same period last year. As of week 33 (August 16, 2026), the whole commune recorded 100 Dengue fever cases with 49 outbreaks, concentrated mainly in Group 9, Lang Sim hamlet. The outbreaks have been treated by killing larvae and spraying chemicals, but the risk of outbreaks still needs to be closely monitored because it is the rainy season.
Through surveys at households, the health station force recorded that larvae exist in many water stains in houses as well as in vacant land such as bottle shells, trays, pots, ...", a representative of Ho Tram Commune Health Station added.

At the same time, the commune needs to proactively monitor risk points, promote direct communication to each household and mobilize local resources to prevent and control epidemics.
