A meaningful Tet meal
Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Xuan Co - Director of Bach Mai Hospital said that during the three days of Lunar New Year, more than 20,000 free meals with Tet flavors were carefully prepared for inpatients and medical staff. In departments and rooms, nearly 1,500 patients - most of whom are from remote areas - received dedicated care during the 9-day holiday.
In addition to the delicious spring meals, the hospital mobilizes more than 800 high-quality medical staff, from doctors, nurses to technicians, always ready to be on duty.
Hospital leaders visited, encouraged and gave gifts to patients during the last days of the year.
With nearly 1,500 inpatients, the hospital deploys four levels of on-call to ensure readiness for emergency and treatment. From key centers such as A9 Emergency, Intensive Care, Anti-Poison to specialized units such as Cardiology, Nephrology, Orthopedics, all activities take place continuously and without interruption.
Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Director of A9 Emergency Center - shared: "Emergency scenarios for disasters, traffic accidents or poisoning have been carefully prepared. Our team of doctors and nurses are always ready to devote themselves, all for the safety of patients."
“Zero-dong Tet stall” - Connecting love
From the initiative of the Social Work Department, “Zero-VND Tet Booth” has become an indispensable feature of every Tet holiday. Practical gifts are given directly to poor patients and their families, carrying a message of sharing and hope.
This year, the booth is also decorated with spring colors with warm corners for patients and medical staff to check-in, take photos, and save memorable moments. Here, a pot of hot tea and some traditional cakes and jams are enough to make the Tet atmosphere spread in every smile and eye.
In the last days of the year, thousands of poor patients were discharged from the hospital, bringing with them the joy of reunion with their families. On their return journey, they not only brought health but also love from the medical team. Tet gifts and lucky money envelopes from the community and philanthropists warmed the hearts of many people in the days of spring approaching.
Spring is coming, sowing new faith and hope in people's hearts. In the hospital space, the story of humanity, sharing and devotion is still being written, like a cool stream nurturing many good things.
Tet in the hospital is not noisy or colorful, but it sparkles with human values, leaving a deep impression in everyone's heart.
