Thousands of meaningful gifts for patients at the 0 VND Tet Market

On January 27, Nghe An General Friendship Hospital organized the program "Tet Charity - Tet Market 0 VND".

At the program, hospitals and benefactors sent to patients and family members of practical gifts, including many necessary necessities on the occasion of the Lunar New Year such as banh chung, banh tet, sticky rice, food ...

In addition to thousands of free gifts from the booths, leaders of Nghe An General Friendship Hospital and sponsors also have small New Year gifts for patients.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Huong - Director of Nghe An General Friendship Hospital said: "Tet Nhan Ai - Tet Market 0 Dong" is a humanitarian bridge deployed by the hospital every year so that philanthropists, officials, civil servants and hospital workers can join hands to bring a full Tet, sharing the difficulties for poor patients and those in difficult circumstances who are being treated here".

Previously, on January 23, Nghe An General Friendship Hospital also organized a gift giving ceremony for officials, civil servants, and workers in difficult circumstances and suffering from serious illnesses on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.

Specifically, the hospital presented 40 gifts to officials, civil servants and workers in difficult circumstances (each worth 2 million VND); 3 gifts to officials in especially difficult circumstances (each worth 5 million VND); presented 2 savings books to 2 children of officials and civil servants who lost their mothers (each worth 10 million VND); 8 gifts to officials, civil servants and workers who are children of martyrs' families (each worth 1 million VND).

Nghe An General Hospital also presented 37 gifts from the Department of Health (each worth 1 million VND) and 37 gifts from the Health Sector Trade Union (each worth 500,000 VND) to cadres, civil servants and workers in difficult circumstances.

Nghe An General Friendship Hospital has been recognized by the Ministry of Health and assigned the task of the final line of technical expertise in medical examination and treatment in the North Central region since 2021. The hospital currently has 2,000 planned beds; 7 departments, paraclinical centers and 35 departments, clinical centers. The total number of employees is 1,875 people; ensuring the implementation of modern and specialized techniques. The hospital has full facilities and medical equipment, meeting the approved technical list. In 2024, the bed occupancy rate will reach 122.6%.
