Novak Djokovic's official competition outfit at the 2024 Paris Olympics has been announced. This outfit, designed by Djokovic's sponsoring fashion company Lacoste, is based on the colors of the Serbian flag of red, blue and white.
The shirt Djokovic wears is mainly red, with some blue highlights on the collar and sides. The 37-year-old tennis player will play in white pants and white shoes - designed by another sponsor, Asics, also with a combination of these three colors.
Olympic gold medal is a goal Djokovic has pursued throughout his career but has not succeeded. This is also the only front he has not been able to conquer after winning every title on tour.
The Paris Olympics will also be the last opportunity for Nole to pursue his ambitions, because at the next Olympics, he will be 41 years old.
Djokovic's biggest rivals such as Roger Federer Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray all have Olympic gold medals, in singles and doubles. For Djokovic, the best result he had was a bronze medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Djokovic's 2024 season is not really successful without a single title. He won 23/30 matches played.
Before the Wimbledon final, he had only reached the semi-finals of two tournaments, the Australian Open and Monte-Carlo.
Djokovic can hope that the form shown at Wimbledon will be maintained, but he will have to get used to the clay court again, because the 2024 Olympic tennis takes place at Roland Garros.
