Lang Son - The working delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented 500 million VND to support union members and workers affected by floods in the province.

On September 14, a delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) led by Vice President Huynh Thanh Xuan visited, presented gifts and provided support to union members and workers in Lang Son province who suffered damage after storm No.

At the provincial Federation of Labor headquarters, the delegation presented 500 million VND to support union members and workers affected by the disaster in the province.

At the same time, timely information on policies of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to share and support workers affected by storm No. 3.

Accordingly, the specific support level is 10 million VND/person for union members and workers who died due to the impact of the storm; support from 1 - 5 million VND/person for union members and workers who were seriously injured and had to be hospitalized; support from 1 - 3 million VND/case, from the accumulated financial resources for regular expenditure for localities and sectors directly affected by storm No. 3.

Based on the level of property damage such as houses with blown roofs, swept away by floods, landslides, damaged houses that need to be repaired immediately so that union members and workers can overcome the consequences and stabilize their lives...

The Vice President of the General Confederation of Labor also requested the Provincial Confederation of Labor to continue promoting the spirit of mutual love and support, encouraging and visiting families of union members and workers affected by storms and floods.

On the same day, the working delegation and the Provincial Federation of Labor visited, encouraged and gave gifts to two union members injured by storm No. 3, Ms. Nong Thi Vuon, a union member of the Chi Lang District Medical Center Union and Mr. Trieu Duc Hoan, a union member of the Huu Lung District Department of Labor, War Invalids, Social Affairs and Ethnic Minorities.

Also on September 14, the Lang Son Provincial Federation of Labor received support from a delegation from the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor to visit, present gifts and give 100 million VND to union members and workers affected by storm No. 3.
