The Indian Civil Aviation Authority said that investigators and rescue forces found a flight data recorder, one of two black boxes, on the roof of the building where the plane crashed.
There is currently no information about the remaining cockpit recording box and black box, which also play a very important role in investigating the cause of the accident.
Investigators from India, the UK and the US were present to investigate the accident. General Electric Electric's aircraft engine manufacturer Aerospace affirmed its support for measures to strengthen safety inspections by the Indian aviation authority for Air India's 787 fleet.
Previously, on June 13, rescue forces completed the scene of the accident and continued to search for missing people, bodies in buildings and debris from the plane that could help clarify the cause of the accident.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the scene of the accident in the state of Gujarat. He also met with a number of injured people who are being treated at the hospital.
The June 12 accident was the first serious accident of the Dreamliner since the wide-body aircraft began commercial operation in 2011.
