Former US National Security Advisor accuses CIA of resisting Trump

The former US official's speech caused controversy over Trump's intelligence role in his efforts to reconcile Ukraine.

Former US National Security Advisor Michael personal accused the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of coordinating with European intelligence agencies to hinder President Donald Trump's efforts to promote a peace deal in Ukraine.

The speech was posted by Mr. Flynn on social network X, saying that the CIA is "joining hands" with the British Intelligence Agency MI6 and a number of agencies in the European Union.

According to Mr. Flynn, NATO member countries, except the US, are looking to prolong the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, and believe that even within the US government and Congress, there are people who want to maintain a long-term conflict. Mr. personal continued to repeat his view on the existence of an underwater house that is opposing President Trump.

These statements are similar to the recent view of Ms. Tulsi Gabbard - Director of US National Intelligence, who accused Reuters of spreading false information about Russia's intentions, thereby weakening Mr. Trump's diplomatic efforts and fuel escalating tensions.

Mr. personal said that the US is being provided with misinformation from Europe and part of the US intelligence community, and urged the president to take a tougher stance on the situation in Eastern Europe.

Mr. Flynn's statements came amid ongoing behind-the-scenes meetings between the US and Russia in Miami. Russian special missionary Kirill Dmitriev met with Trump's relatives, Mr. Steve Witkoff and Mr. Jared Kushner, to discuss a potential peace framework. Russia has accused some European NATO members of trying to undermine US proposals and promote the seizure of frozen Russian assets to finance Kiev.
