The Estonian government convened an emergency meeting on the morning of March 25.
Latvia also announced that a drone intruded into its airspace, fell and may have exploded near the border area with Russia.

Police, border guards and the Latvian army are investigating the area near the Kraslava region in the east of the country. There are no casualties and no infrastructure damaged.
The above incidents occurred in the context of Ukraine launching an attack in the early morning of the same day targeting the Russian port of Ust-Luga, according to a press release from Estonia sent to local media agencies.
The intrusion occurred after another incident, in which a drone crashed in Lithuania on March 23. Vilnius authorities confirmed that the device originated from Ukraine.
The above incidents raise questions about the air defense capabilities of the Baltic countries despite having invested in security for many years.
