The explosions were recorded near Tel Aviv and Beersheba in southern Israel on June 24. The Israeli military said Iran had launched six rounds of missiles. At least four people have died in Beersheba, the first deaths in Israel since President Trump announced a ceasefire between Israel and Iran late on June 23.
A senior White House official said that President Trump mediated a ceasefire agreement during a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel agreed on the condition that Iran did not attack further.
Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani has guaranteed Tehran's agreement during a call with Iranian officials. US Vice President J.D Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and US special missionary Steve Witkoff have had direct and indirect contact with the Irans.

Western media said that Iran's handling of the attack evoked previous tensions with the US and Israel, in which Tehran sought to balance the situation by holding back a military response without triggering a tropical escalation cycle.
The Trump administration affirmed that the target of the attack was only to destroy Iran's nuclear program, not to launch a wider war.
