SANA news agency quoted the Syrian Minister of Home Affairs as saying that two car bombs exploded at the roundabout on the way to the city's airport, while the third car bomb was detonated by a driver while being chased by security forces.
According to Syrian officials, the deadly bombings that occurred this morning leasted several civilians, injured several others and caused significant damage to public and private property.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attacks.
According to the Syrian Human Rights Monitoring Organization, 18 people were killed in the bombing, including at least seven members of the Syrian government security force and two civilians.
