On August 3, an Israeli official revealed that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is pushing for a military solution to release the remaining hostages held by Hamas for not finding a diplomatic solution to the hostage crisis.
These people have been arrested since the surprise attack on Israel by Hamas fighters on October 7, 2023.
The hostage list is believed to contain more than 200 people and after a prolonged rescue process during the war between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip, many sources said that about 20 survivors are still being held.
Earlier, on August 2, thousands of protests poured into the streets of Tel Aviv ( Israel), demanding that their government end the war and return the last hostages home.
In an interview, a resident named Ilay David said: "They are on the brink of death". The man has an older brother named Evyatar David - believed to be one of the remaining hostages being held after a video released by Hamas last weekend.

The protest broke out hours after President Donald Trump's special envoy to the Middle East, Mr. Steve Witkoff, met with the families of the hostages in Israel.
Not stopping there, Mr. Witkoff's visit to the Middle East on August 1 also to inspect the aid distribution system for people in Gaza supported by the US and Israel in the context of the international community increasingly concerned about the poverty crisis in this area.
For months, humanitarian aid organizations and international agencies have repeatedly warned that Gaza is facing severe hunger and impending hunger in some areas of the Gaza Strip.
According to the Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry, the number of deaths from malnutrition is also reported to be on the rise. At least 175 people, including 93 children, have died from malnutrition in Gaza.
