China's National Meteorological Center said that a new cold air mass will sweep through central and eastern China from January 25 to 27, bringing snow, rain and dropping temperatures.
From January 25-27, areas including northern China, southern northeastern China and northern Huangxi region will have light to moderate snowfall, according to the weather forecast of the National Meteorological Center of China.
Snowfall is expected to occur in the central Hoang Hoai region as well as the southern Shaanxi province, while ice rain may affect some areas of Henan and Hubei.
Temperatures in affected areas are expected to decrease from 3 to 6 degrees Celsius, with some areas decreasing by more than 8 degrees Celsius.
Meteorologists warn of slippery roads and the possibility of ice due to rain and snow, calling on people to travel safely.
In Vietnam, on January 25, cold air tends to weaken, causing the temperature to rise. The weather in the North is generally foggy, with light rain and drizzle in the early morning.
On January 26th and January 27th, the Northeast region and Thanh Hoa will have light rain, drizzle and scattered fog in the morning. It will be cold, mountainous and midland areas will be severely cold. High mountainous areas need to be wary of frost.
From January 28th, the North and Thanh Hoa will have light rain in some places, early morning fog and light fog in some places. From January 28th to February 1st, it will be cold, especially in the Northern mountainous region, it will be very cold in some places. From about the evening and night of January 30th to January 31st, the Northern provinces will have scattered rain.
The area from Quang Tri to Da Nang city and the eastern provinces from Quang Ngai to Gia Lai next week will have light rain in some places; especially the periods from January 28 - 29 and from January 31 - February 1 will have rain, showers and thunderstorms in some places.
