Iran's Supreme Leader broadcast a speech on television just one day after US President Donald Trump called on Iran to surrender unconditionally.
The American people need to know that the Iranian people are not a nation that will surrender, and any of their military interventions will certainly cause irreparable damage, Khamenei affirmed in his national speech. This is only the second time he has spoken publicly since Israel launched an attack on Iran on June 13.
Those who are wise and knowledgeable about Iran, its people and its history will never speak with threatening language, because the Irans will never surrender, he warned.
A day earlier, US President Donald Trump declared on the social network Truth Social that Mr. Khamenei was an easy target for the US and Israel, and added pressure with the flower chu: Unconditional goods.
In his speech, Mr. Khamenei emphasized: " My should understand that any US military intervention will certainly cause irreparable damage."

Meanwhile, in the capital Tehran, residents said they were living in a nightmare after a series of fierce Israeli airstrikes from the night of June 17 to the early morning of June 18.
The Israeli military launched a large-scale attack with more than 50 fighter jets targeting Iranian missile and centrifuge production facilities overnight.
Waking up every day is a nightmare, said a 28-year-old Iranian woman.
Another 32-year-old man shared: "After a quiet afternoon, there was a bomb rain", saying that there were about "30 to 40 explosions" about 7km from his house.
The sound was so terrible, the whole street was destroyed, he added, adding that his family were still considering leaving their hometown.
Satellite images on June 17 from Maxar show that Iran's Tabriz missile base (northwest Iran) and Mashhad airport were severely damaged. The warehouses were completely leveled, and large bomb holes appeared on the routes inside the base. Some underpasses for vehicles were also hit and severely damaged.
The Israeli military confirmed that it had launched a wave of strikes with more than 50 fighter jets against Iranian missile and centrifuge manufacturing facilities on the night of June 17.
Meanwhile, Iran's semi-official Mehr news agency claimed that Iran launched a Fattah hypersonic missile at Israel overnight.
