NBC News reported that the Porsche driver lost control early Sunday morning (November 10) when the car crashed into the median strip and then crashed straight into the second floor of a building, killing two people.
Toms River Police received a report of the incident at 6:30 a.m. This is a building with offices of a number of businesses, including a real estate company and a consulting company.
Police spokesman Jillian Messina said the Porsche was moving north at high speeds at the time the driver lost control and crashed into the median strip, causing the car to swerve into space.
In the image, a large gap can be clearly seen on the 2nd floor of the red brick building and the Posche is still inside.
CNN reported that the red Posche Boxster was driven by Braden DeMartin, 22. In the car at the time of the accident, in addition to DeMartin, there was Daniel Foley, 23 years old. Both residents of this Toms River died at the scene.
Isaac Kesserman, the building's owner, said no one was inside the building at the time of the accident.
