On August 27, according to TASS news agency, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that the UK's transfer of Storm Shadow cruise missiles to Kiev shows that London is directly involved in the Ukraine conflict.
The story of Storm Shadow is clear evidence of London's involvement in the conflict in Ukraine," Zakharova told reporters.
According to Ms. Zakharova, the UK has tried every way to avoid answering questions related to how Storm Shadow missiles are actually used.
Ms. Zakharova believes that for a while, London has tried to avoid this issue. However, at one point, the use of Storm Shadow became clear and undeniable.
Ms. Zakharova's statement was made after British Prime Minister Andy Burnham announced that the UK government had agreed to allow the defense corporation MBDA to transfer to Kiev confidential data related to British components used in SCALP missiles.

SCALP is a French version of the Storm Shadow missile line developed by the UK.
According to information quoted by TASS, the above data relates to parts provided by Britain for the missile system. This move is seen by Moscow as a sign of London's level of involvement in military support for Kiev.
Storm Shadow is a cruise missile jointly developed by the UK and France, designed to attack targets at long distances.
The UK side has not yet commented on the above statement.
