On August 27, the Government Office said that Politburo Member, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung had just signed Decision No. 1663/QD-TTg approving the results of dismissal from the position of Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee.
According to Decision No. 1663/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister approved the results of dismissal from the position of Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term for Mr. Tran Chi Cuong.
Previously, on July 30, at the 4th session, the regular meeting in mid-2026, the Da Nang City People's Council dismissed Mr. Tran Chi Cuong from the position of Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term.
Mr. Tran Chi Cuong was transferred to hold the position of Secretary of Hoi An ward, term 2025-2030 from July 1, 2026.
Mr. Tran Chi Cuong was born in 1973; native of Hoa Hai ward, Ngu Hanh Son district (old), Da Nang city; Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Tourism - Hotel Business Administration, Bachelor of English.
Mr. Tran Chi Cuong used to be Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism, Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Da Nang City People's Council. He was elected as Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee in July 2023.
