The information was announced by Mr. Mikhail Kuznetsov, Director of the Department of Energy and Fuel, Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, at a press conference on August 12 about the strategic tasks of the national fuel - energy sector.
According to Mr. Kuznetsov, the plan is within the framework of federal projects, including a very diverse capacity range: 6-8 MW, 24 MW, converting 7 MW turbines to a maritime configuration, developing 25 MW mobile complexes and moving towards manufacturing gas turbines with a capacity of over 300 MW.
At the same time, Russia is organizing maintenance systems for installed gas turbines, while developing important electrical equipment such as high-voltage power cutters and gas cutting equipment.
Another key focus is building a high-voltage equipment testing center - a very rare facility in the world - to allow Russia to conduct the entire testing cycle of domestic power products on its own.
In addition, the Russian Petroleum Institute said that the oil and gas industry has built about 370 technology standards, of which 80 standards have been approved and recognized by international partners - including the UAE, Algeria, Oman, many countries of the CIS, Africa and the Middle East.
Russian gas and oil Technology Initiative Executive Director Nikolay Kuznetsov said Russia is not only building standards but also promoting practical application in global oil and gas cooperation.
